AMF Medical, develops novel Sigi™ Insulin Management System for the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
Sigi is been designed as a plug and play, reusable and rechargeable patch pump, for the people with diabetes. Moreover, it accommodates with standard insulin pre-filled pump cartridges and delivers basal and bolus insulin at both set and variable rates.
According to the clinical trial data, Sigi™ is easy to use smaller, lighter and more convenient than the currently available insulin delivery systems. It works with bubble-free pumping mechanism and remove the need for warming up of the insulin and filling reservoirs with a syringe, as it uses prefilled insulin cartridges.
Sigi™ is the only insulin pump designed with closed loop integration applicable with standard, pre-filled pump cartridges.
Sigi is an alternate controller enabled pump which has the ability to connect with Bluetooth-enabled CGMs, smartphones or iController devices in order to receive, execute and confirm dosing commands.
